Who Didn't Love the 90's? #throwbackthursday
In honor of the infamous #throwbackthursday we wanted to share with you this brilliantly curated site that truly brings us back to a time of Lisa Frank, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and jeans that went up to our belly buttons.
Behold http://www.90smusicvidz.com a collection of possibly every video that surfaced MTV or VH1 during the 90’s. This is what we call a find!
Now, to talk about some of our favorites and why:

It’s not the 90’s without an Ace of Base shout out, and just like their ever-catchy tunes, this video does not disappoint. We love everything from the horrid fashion, the “in-style” messy hair with the matching short bangs, to the slow motion love sequence. This one is one for the vault.

In a time without Facebook, nay, the internet even! The controversy of this song still managed to make worldwide front pages as Mattel threatened to sue the Europop band Aqua for what they claim was a defamation of the immortal Mattel doll, Barbie… Honestly, we just call it free publicity, and this video also brings back everything we loved about the 90’s.

Enough about pop! Let’s move to that 90’s rock that is recognizable to anyone who was tuned to a Discman or a television in this era. Eve 6 is one of the many bands that sprouted during this “College Rock” era movement that the 90’s brought about. Now, we can’t decide what we love best about this one – is it the metallic pearls and Dexter-ish outfit, the faux-rain, or the hairstyles? Either way, it makes us appreciate that we’ve advanced fashion-sense wise… still a great tune, though!

R&B lovers, we haven’t forgotten about you! Flawless as she is, Lauryn Hill’s Doo Woop is actually an impressively artistic video. The play on duality between eras is great! And the old school NYC feel showing the evolution of block parties warms us up inside.
We suggest that you take a trip down memory lane with us and scroll away through the endless library of 90’s memories housed in this site. It proves to be an extremely fun activity!
