Do You Accept International Credit Cards on BRAVEN.com?

BRAVEN.com only accepts US credit cards.

What forms of payment does BRAVEN.com accept?

BRAVEN.com accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover cards. Only one form of payment is accepted per order. BRAVEN.com does not accept Visa, Mastercard, or American Express gift cards.

I received an error message when trying to check out, did my order go through?

If you received an error message during checkout BRAVEN has not received your order. Please verify the billing information you provided with your credit card matches the information on file with your bank. If you have any questions about a failed transaction, contact our Customer Service Department toll free at 1-877-927-2836.

When will my card be charged for pre-ordered products?

Payments for pre-order items are processed immediately. You can cancel your order up until it has shipped.

Can I cancel my order?

Orders can be canceled only up until the time the order is processed for shipping. Once your order has shipped you will need to complete the returns process to obtain a refund.

How can I check on the status of my order?

Can I ship one order to Multiple locations?

Orders on BRAVEN.com can only be shipped to a single address. To ship to multiple addresses you’ll need to create a separate order for each address.

How long does it take my order to ship?

Orders are processed and shipped Monday thru Friday 9am to 2pm Pacific Standard Time. Orders placed after 2pm PST will be processed the following business day.

What Carrier will be used to ship my order?

BRAVEN.com orders are shipped via FedEx for addresses within the 48 continental United States. Orders to PO Boxes, Military addresses, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Guam ship via USPS.

FedEx 2nd Day Air orders processed on Thursdays will arrive the following Monday. FedEx 2nd Day Air orders processed on Fridays will arrive the following Tuesday.

Do you require a signature to deliver my order?

All orders over $300 will require a signature for delivery.

Do you support International Shipping?

BRAVEN.com only ships to the 48 continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Guam. To order in Europe, visit BRAVEN.eu. For all other countries, consult our Where to Buy Page for online retailers who ship in your country: http://www.braven.com/where-to-buy.

Do you ship to Military or PO Box addresses?

We ship to all PO Box, APO, FPO, and DPO addresses via USPS. Please note that these shipments cannot be shipped via FedEx.

How do I return an item?

To process a return, our customer service team will lead you through the following steps:

  1. Request a Return Online
    1. Visit http://www.braven.com/returns-and-exchanges and request a return.
    2. After your request has been processed, you’ll receive an email from support@braven.com with further instructions.
    3. Once your return has been approved you'll receive your Return Material Authorization (RMA) Number.
  2. Return Your Item to BRAVEN
    1. Package your item and write your Return Material Authorization (RMA) number on the outside of the box.
    2. Ship the item to BRAVEN customer service at the following address:

How long does it take to get a refund?

To receive a refund you must request your RMA number within 30 days of your original purchase date by filling out the form here: http://www.braven.com/returns-and-exchanges

Once your item has been received please allow approximately 2-5 business days for the refund to appear on your account.

Are BRAVEN speakers covered under warranty?

Yes, all BRAVEN speakers purchased from an authorized reseller come with a 1-year limited warranty posted here: http://www.braven.com/support/warranty. For a list of authorized retailers visit http://www.braven.com/where-to-buy, or contact support@braven.com.

How do I Obtain Warranty Service on my speaker?

To obtain warranty service, please submit an RMA request form here: http://www.braven.com/returns-and-exchanges. After obtaining an RMA number, defective product must be returned to BRAVEN before any warranty service will be provided. You are responsible for all shipping and other costs associated with returning defective product to BRAVEN. Original proof of purchase is required to complete your warranty service request.

What is Bluetooth?

Bluetooth is a wireless technology standard for safely exchanging data over short distances (up to 33 ft. line-of-sight). In the BRAVEN product, Bluetooth technology is used to transmit music/sound signals wirelessly from a Bluetooth enabled device to the BRAVEN speaker. Bluetooth is managed by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG), which has more than 15,000 member companies and oversees the development of the technology.

What devices are compatible with a BRAVEN speaker?

BRAVEN speakers are compatible with most Bluetooth devices, including iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, most Android phones and tablets, as well as both Mac and PC computers.

BRAVEN speakers are also compatible with any device you use headphones with; you can use the included 3.5mm cable to plug your device directly into the BRAVEN.

Consult your BRAVEN speaker's manual for Bluetooth specifications.

How many devices can be connected to a BRAVEN at one time?

BRAVEN speakers will remember the last 8 devices that were connected to them. However, only one device can play music through the BRAVEN at a time.

Can I charge my cell phone by plugging into the BRAVEN speaker? How?

The BRAVEN is designed to charge mobile devices that can charge using a USB cable. To charge your cell phone, plug the USB end of your charging cable into the BRAVEN's USB port and plug your phone into the other end. Once both ends are connected your phone will begin charging. The BRAVEN does not have to be plugged to an AC power outlet to charge another device, but it won’t charge unless BRAVEN’s battery has some charge and is in the "ON” position.

Can the BRAVEN charge my tablet too?

The BRAVEN 570, 600, 625s, 650, BRV-1 and 440 are designed to efficiently charge mobile phones and other small portable devices that draw power from a 0.5A to 1A charge. These speakers will not charge a tablet or any other device requiring a higher powered (2A) USB connection.

The BRAVEN 850 and 855s are designed to charge a tablet or any other device requiring a higher powered (2A) USB connection. These devices will also charge mobile phones and other devices that charge on a 1A charge.

Can I listen to music on a BRAVEN speaker while it is being charged?

Yes, You can play music through the BRAVEN speaker while it charges.

Can I listen to music on a BRAVEN speaker while it’s charging my cell phone?

Absolutely. The BRAVEN will use its internal battery to play the music and charge your phone. The BRAVEN’s internal battery must have enough charge to perform both functions simultaneously. If the BRAVEN’s battery gets too low it will turn off its charging function, and you will need to charge the speaker again before you can continue to charge your phone from the BRAVEN’s battery.

If you use the 3.5mm jack to daisy-chain two speakers together does it channel separate the two speakers?

Daisy-chaining with an aux or 3.5mm cable does not channel separate between two speakers. The second speaker will play the same audio as the first speaker in the chain, adding it’s volume to the overall output.

Is the BRAVEN speakerphone feature a true duplex microphone? Does it allow for conversations without clipping?

BRAVEN speakers feature a full duplex speakerphone, just like normal telephone applications. Braven licenses and utilizes proprietary software platforms based on Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology for enhancing the audio quality of our microphones. A modular suite of algorithms, including acoustic echo cancellation and noise suppression, is applied in the software and tuned to optimize BRAVEN’s speakerphone performance.

What is SRS WOW HD Sound?

SRS Wow HD improves the dynamic audio performance of compressed and uncompressed audio by expanding the size of the audio image and creating a deep, rich bass response.

The BRAVEN 850 and 855s both utilize this feature. Consult the user manual for information on how to activate SRS WOW HD sound on your BRAVEN.

What does IPX3 water resistant mean?

IPX3 rated speakers are water resistant, and can be exposed to light water splashing and light rainfall. These speakers are not intended to be submersed completely in water.

What does IPX5 water resistant mean?

IPX5 rated speakers are protected against dust, rainfall, water jets and water splashing. These speakers are not intended to be submersed completely in water.

True Wireless

What is True Wireless?

True Wireless allows you to pair two speakers together for a left and right stereo audio experience. Speakers can be up to 10 meters apart from each other, with one speaker playing the right channel of the song, and the other playing the left channel, for a wireless “stereo” effect.

Can both speakers in a True Wireless pair play the same stereo audio?

No, the two connected speakers will play only right and left channel audio.

Can True Wireless work with more than two speakers?

No, True Wireless only allows two speakers to play right and left channel audio. It is not possible to link more than two speakers together.

Can I use True Wireless with two different kinds of BRAVEN speaker?

Yes, you can form a True Wireless pair of speakers using one BRAVEN 850 and one BRAVEN 855s speaker.
